The F1 season has seen some great races which has given the game some great drivers in each team. We are happy to be seeing such great performances from some drivers this season. The teams of Red Bull and Ferrari have been giving some consistent performances and it was great to see the drivers like Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc succeed this season.

Unfortunately, we cannot say the same thing about the Mercedes team this season, who are not having the best days on any circuit. The team has yet to achieve a podium this season and has not looked that great. The likes of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell have not had the best success rate this season. We could easily say that it has been one of the most disappointing seasons for one of the most decorated teams in F1 history who have given incredible performances.

Toto Wolfe on the development and upgrades of the team

Though it has not been the best of seasons so far for the team, some big improvements are being made to ensure that the team can give some better results. Mercedes CEO Toto Wolff also had some say on the further upgrades and development of the team stating on the major swings and balance of the cars which has been causing problems, "That was something we were struggling with in the past couple of years, and directionally we seem to be adding performance every weekend, and with new parts coming also in Barcelona that should help us. So I would very much hope that we can continue this positive trajectory."

The parts he has been referring to are for the new front-wing design that can solve the problems for the drivers going forward. They will hope that these upgrades can help them get some better results in the upcoming races. The upcoming Spanish Grand Prix will be the time when all of this will be tested and the team will be hoping for the best in Barcelona.
