Remy Gardner will be replacing Alex Rins at German MotoGP. The driver and Yamaha confirmed it with a press release. Remy wished Alex a quick recovery from the injury and said he was excited about the new challenge. He thanked Yamaha for trusting in his talent. Gardner said he would use it as a great experience to learn new things.

"First of all, I hope Álex can have a fast recovery and I wish him the best. I'm really excited about this challenge. I just want to say 'Thank you so much' to Yamaha for trusting me to ride this weekend. I will use it as a great experience to learn," said Gardner in the interview. Along with him, the management of Yamaha was present.

Remy had a brilliant 2021 season where he won the Moto2 title. But his 2022 season with Tech3 KTM was not that good. He lost the RC16 title to Augusto Fernandez. It led to him making a move to WorldSBK. In the press conference, Remy spoke about Yamaha and his return to MotoGP. Gardner was happy to be back in action and hoped to do well.

'I'm looking forward to enjoying this weekend' - Remy Gardner

"I'm looking forward to enjoying this weekend, and I'm just extremely happy for this opportunity. Once again a big 'Thank you' to Yamaha," Gardner concluded and hoped to deliver a good performance in Germany. Sachsenring is set to host the next MotoGP event. Gardener is looking forward to getting into the grooves after not having a good season since 2022.
