Pramac's future with Ducati is uncertain as the Italian company are yet to officially sign a deal. Although Pramac has claimed that the cooperation between the Italian manufacturers will continue, there is no signing of the agreement to confirm the future dealings of the two.

The latest development comes in the wake of Pramac's team manager Gino Borsoi reiterating his commitment to Ducati. At last week's Italian MotoGP, Borsoi seemed to have put an end to speculation about Pramac's future with Ducati, stating, “We will continue to have the official Ducatis next year”.

However, Mauro Grassilli, sporting director of Ducati, later revealed that Pramac hasn't yet signed a contract. He expressed his happiness at Borzoi's words and added that they would like to get confirmation as soon as possible.

“We’ve worked a lot from the beginning of the season to have Pramac for the next two years. Of course, we are very happy about what Gino said. We have not yet had the confirmation written. We are looking forward to having it as soon as possible,” Grassilli remarked.

Pramac in dilemma over Ducati and Yamaha

Pramac are currently in the final year of its contract with Ducati. However, they have reportedly added a clause that would allow them to stay with the Italian manufacturer through 2025 and 2026. The deadline for activation of this clause is 31 July 2024.

Meanwhile, Pramac are understood to be facing a dilemma in signing the deal as there is a tempting offer from Yamaha. The Italian-Japanese factory team is desperate to add a satellite structure to their project next year. However, Pramac are running out of time to decide whether to stay with Ducati or start a new chapter with Yamaha.

It is noteworthy that Pramac are now left without either of their star riders - Jorge Martin and Marc Marquez - for 2025. Martin has signed a deal with Aprilia, while Marquez will join the factory Ducati team.
