Pierre Gasly tops severely red flagged FP3 of Dutch Grand Prix - Results

In a dramatic final practice session at Zandvoort for the Dutch Grand Prix, Pierre Gasly emerged as the fastest driver despite challenging conditions. The Alpine driver clocked a top time of 1:20.311, narrowly ahead of Kevin Magnussen, who finished second with a 1:20.450.

The session, heavily impacted by rain and a red flag incident involving Logan Sargeant, saw significant disruption. Sargeant's Williams slid off the track and caught fire after a spin, causing the session to be halted for an extended period. Fortunately, Sargeant emerged unharmed, but the incident is likely to affect his participation in qualifying.

With only a few minutes remaining after the red flag was cleared, many drivers struggled to set competitive times. As a result, the final practice session yielded mixed results for the drivers. Valtteri Bottas rounded out the top three with a 1:21.155.

In the final standings, Lando Norris and Fernando Alonso completed the top five, showing strong performances for McLaren and Aston Martin, respectively. Notably, reigning champion Max Verstappen finished in 17th place, facing difficulties in the slippery conditions.
