British Formula 1 racing driver Oliver Bearman celebrates his 20th birthday today. He is seen as the future Ferrari driver and will very soon become one of the mighty forces in Formula 1. Bearman drives for the Haas F1 team, and he impresses in every race.
Together with Esteban Ocon, he brings Haas F1 some good points to keep them in the sixth spot in the championship table. So what is special about him, and why is he seen as the future of Ferrari and beyond? Let's take a look at his career journey.

Ferrari Driver Academy
Oliver Bearman was part of the Ferrari Driver Academy, and they had been scouting him since he was 15. He made his debut for the Haas F1 team at the 2023 Mexican Grand Prix. In 2024, he was announced as the Ferrari reserve driver, and he drove the SF-24 at the 2024 Mexican GP. He took the steering wheel in place of Kevin Magnussen during the 2024 Imola Grand Prix.
F1 debut
Haas F1 team was very much impressed with the progress of Oliver Bearman, and they signed him as their lead driver for the 2025 season alongside Esteban Ocon. He scored his first points for his team at the Chinese GP when the two Ferrari drivers were disqualified. He scored further points after he finished 10th in Japan and Bahrain.
Future of Ferrari
As we see Kimi Antonelli shine after coming out of the Mercedes driver academy. We expect Oliver Bearman to show the same level of driving and skills in the future when he becomes a Ferrari driver. He is giving his best for the Haas F1 team, and the experience he gets there will one day put him in the seat of a Ferrari car, and he can pursue his goal of becoming a world champion one day.
