The Monaco GP is just around the corner and we all are thrilled about the upcoming race that has been one of the iconic for every racer in Formula 1. This is where the competition becomes tougher for all the racers in the scenario. After the three practice sessions, which we witnessed just before this race, we were ready for the next segment leading up to the competition to win the Monte Carlo crown.

After the 3 practice sessions, it was now down to the qualifiers to see who would be winning the pole positions in the big event. This is where the racers get an extra advantage in the all-important race on where they will start. The qualifying race might not be the final race but it is still something that all the people are waiting to see who will be the driver to gain that advantage in one of the biggest races this season.

Leclerc gets the pole position

Charles Leclerc had already impressed everyone in the practice sessions just before the qualifiers where he had the quickest lap in the previous two practice sessions. The story was the same the Ferrari driver went on to finish with the fastest lap and went on to achieve the pole position in the race. It was Leclerc who got the quickest lap in Q3 and beat the likes of Oscar Piastri and teammate Carlos Sainz who finished with the 2nd and 3rd fastest lap, respectively.

It was Lando Norris and George Russell who will be happy to finish 4th and 5th after having a bit of a struggle in the practice sessions. The only drivers who have disappointed in this qualifier are Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton, who might have had one of their worst three laps in this qualifying race finishing 6th and 7th. However, this was once again a great performance by Leclerc and it will be great to see him start at the pole position in Monaco.
