The Miami GP saw a poor day for local boy Logan Sargeant. The American racer lost control of the car and crashed out after a collision with Haas driver Kevin Magnussen. With Magnussen pushing to maintain his lead over the local boy he hit the back tyers.
The small touch at turn 3 pushed Sargeant out of the track as he smashed the barriers. The incident called out the safety cars which also helped Lando Norris to maintain his lead on the track. He had a pit stop and started again as a race leader.
Here is the video of the crash:
Kevin Magnussen faces another penalty!
It’s worth noting that Kevin Magnussen had a lot of time penalties during the Sprint race on Saturday as he pushed Lewis Hamilton on multiple occasions. Similarly, on Sunday he received a 10-second penalty for crashing with Sargeant.
