It's New Year 2025, and Sir Lewis Hamilton is officially a Ferrari driver. This is a historic moment; for which many fans have been waiting for months. Lewis Hamilton is now the teammate of Charles Leclerc. The decade-long Mercedes stint is over, and Hamilton says goodbye to the team that gave him six world titles and many other historic achievements.
The last few years with the team were not that successful as Hamilton has been out of the title fight for three straight years. Lewis lost confidence and even had self-doubts in him about his pace and abilities. The Maranello team is very confident of him performing well for the team and they wanted to start fresh with the 7-time world champion.
Upon signing the former world champion many criticised the Team principal Fred Vasseur for betting on Hamilton when having Leclerc. Hamilton’s former boss was happy with his decision and had complete confidence and respect for the world champion.

Expectations are high as this is the first time the legendary F1 driver will race for a different team other than Mercedes. In McLaren, he had a Mercedes engine and won a title. In the factory Mercedes team, he won 6 world titles.
Fans and F1 Pundits are very eager to see the champion drive a Ferrari car for the first time in his career. The Team is also under immense pressure to deliver a championship-winning car to the 7 time world champion as this is the last year of the hybrid era that came in 2014.
