Imola GP (Source: F1)
After two weeks full of sprint and Grand Prix races F1 is back with its traditional racing weekend. As the caravan arrives in Italy for Emilia Romagna Grand Prix a revamped Imola circuit is set to produce some thrilling races.
The Formula 1 will be back at Imola after a one-year hiatus. Last year, the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix faced cancellation due to severe weather conditions, causing flooding across the entire circuit. However, in the 2022 edition, Max Verstappen emerged as the clear winner.
This year Imola is set to host the seventh round of F1 with some significant modifications being made to the track. It promises an exciting and unpredictable race that is not to be missed. Meanwhile, as the Formula 1 season moves into the European leg, there are changes in the schedule compared to previous Grand Prix weekends.
The action begins with the first and second practice sessions on Friday, May 17, followed by the third practice session on Saturday, May 18. Subsequently, the qualifying session for the Grand Prix will determine the starting grid for the race on the same day. On 19th May the seventh round of Grand Prix will take place at Imola circuit.
