As the iconic grid prepares to descend on this historic track, here's what the weather has in store for us over the three-day event.

Friday, July 19: FP1 and FP2

The weekend kicks off under sunny skies with light winds, making for ideal conditions as the cars hit the track for the first practice session at 1:30 pm local time. The weather forecast indicates a low risk of rain, at just 16%, which will drop to 0% when the second practice session rolls around.

Temperatures are expected to peak at a scorching 35 degrees Celsius before cooling to a more comfortable 21 degrees in the evening. This warm weather will provide a crucial test for both drivers and teams as they fine-tune their setups.

Saturday, July 20: FP3 and Qualifying

Saturday promises more dry conditions, ensuring uninterrupted sessions for both the final practice and the all-important qualifying rounds. With temperatures expected to climb to a high of 34 degrees Celsius, the track will be hot and grippy, pushing the drivers to extract the maximum performance from their cars.

Sunday, July 21: Race Day

Race day brings a slight chance of rain, with a 15% probability around the 3 pm start time. Despite this, the overall weather conditions remain favourable, with temperatures similar to Saturday, reaching a high of 33 degrees Celsius and a low of 19 degrees. Light south-westerly winds and humidity levels of around 37% are expected, which could play a role in tyre management and overall race strategy.

As we look ahead to the weekend, the stage is set for another thrilling chapter in this year's Formula 1 season. With Lewis Hamilton's recent victory at Silverstone and Max Verstappen's dominant form, the Hungarian Grand Prix promises to be a gripping contest.
