Why is Oscar Piastri a future world champion?

Winning mindset

Oscar is coming from a country that has a great sporting legacy. Australians have the typical mindset, which is to win at all costs. Piastri also has the same kind of mindset that is needed for a world champion. He is very young in F1, so he still has many years left in him. If McLaren decides to let the drivers do racing, then for sure, he will challenge Lando Norrs and fight for the world title this year.

Calm and calulated

The Australian always looks calm; even during his interviews, he is not overjoyed like Norris. He won the last chinese Grand prix race, which is very tough as a driver. Many drivers had to make their strategy as the conditions there were very different to what they expected. Oscar Piastri was calm and composed and managed his car very well, and he won the race in Shanghai.

Can the birthday boy win the 2025 Japanese Grand prix?

Absolutely yes! The Suzuka circuit is well suited for McLaren, and they proved they are the strongest driver pair in the 2025 season. We also expect rain to play a big part in today's race. The Suzuka circuit is a driver's track, so teams rely on their drivers' skills more than the car. Verstappen proved it yesterday by clinching the pole position with an unbalanced RB21 car. So if Oscar gets a good launch at the start, he can take on both Max and Lando and win the 2025 F1 Japanese Grand prix.
