'I am confident...'-Charles Leclerc speaks on the future of Ferrari this season

Three teams have been the most iconic in the Formula One scene and have had some of the best drivers over the years. The teams are Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari. Even this season, we have seen some legendary and talented drivers win some big races in Formula One. 

The Ferrari team has once again got some great drivers in their setup in the form of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. While the team is currently 2nd on the rankings and their two drivers have been giving some great performances, the last few races for the team have been quite disappointing to watch. After getting wins in Australia and Monaco, the team has not got any podium finish in the last last 4 four races. This has become a worry for most of the die-hard fans as well.

Leclerc opens up on the future

There are a lot of questions to ask about Ferrari and their last few races and who better to answer them than their number one driver Charles Leclerc? The Monocan is currently 3rd in the rankings with one win and 5 podium finishes. When asked about his team and the future, Leclerc had a confident response saying, "I’m confident that if we do the steps that we are expecting to do soon, then we'll be fighting for race victories, We are only speaking about two or three-tenths that today makes a huge difference, But when you put everything back into context, especially with the issues we are facing now, I am confident that once we don't have those issues anymore and that we optimise our package, those two or three-tenths are back in the car.”

This statement explains that the driver still has a lot of confidence in his team and hopes for a big comeback in the next few races. We hope that we see a much better performance from a team that has given us some great performances in the past.
