BREAKING: Franco Morbidelli signs historic deal with Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team

Franco Morbidelli is set to embark on an exciting new chapter in his MotoGP career as he joins the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team for the 2025 season. The Italian rider, closely associated with the VR46 Riders Academy since its inception, will race alongside Fabio Di Giannantonio on the Ducati Desmosedici GP24.

Morbidelli's connection with the VR46 family runs deep. He was the first rider to don the VR46 Riders Academy colours and holds the distinction of being the Academy's first World Champion. His journey with the Academy has been marked by significant achievements, including finishing as the runner-up in the 2020 MotoGP World Championship.

With seven seasons of premier-class experience, three victories, and six podium finishes to his name, Franco Morbidelli brings a wealth of talent and experience to his new team. The decision to bring Morbidelli into the fold for the 2025 season was met with enthusiasm by the team.

Franco was the first rider to enter the VR46 Riders Academy, we have known him for years, we have seen him grow in Tavullia, and today, with great satisfaction, we can say that he will join the crew starting the next season."
