The biggest day of the motorsport is here with 24 Hours of Le Mans set to take place in France to complete this year’s Triple Crown of Motorsports. After the Indianapolis 500 and Monaco Grand Prix, the annual spectacle of 24 Hours of Le Mans will complete the motorsport’s triumvirate of glory. So, here we are with all you need to know about the prestigious event. 

What is 24 Hours of Le Mans?

The 24 Hours of Le Mans is an event that tests the endurance, skills, innovation and abilities of a driver and the cars. It is not won by the fastest driver on the track but the team which covers the most distance on the track wins the race. Each team comprises three drivers who must drive for at least six hours each. There are many more regulatory rules and failing to adhere to them may cause penalties. 

Schedule of 24 Hours of Le Mans 2024:

The iconic race will start on June 15th at 7:30 PM IST and will run for the next 24 hours in different periods to test the endurance and skills of drivers and cars.
