The 2025 MotoGP British Grand Prix FP1 session is complete with Ducati Factory rider Marc Marquez leading the table with the fastest lap time. He was dominant from the start, and no other rider has reached his pace and lap time in the session. In his final run, VR46 team rider Franco Morbidelli ended in P2, dethroning Gresini Racing rider Alex Marquez to P3. VR46 is the top independent team for Ducati, and they are performing well. The Ducati Factory team once again showed their domination at the 2025MotoGP British Grand Prix. Marc Marquez has once again set the fastest lap time of the session, followed by VR46 team rider Franco Morbidelli and his brother Alex Marquez. Aprilia Racing rider Marco Bezzechi, for the first time this season, showed some promising pace and finished in P4 for the Bologna-based team as they are facing trouble in keeping MotoGP world champion Jorge Martin for next season.
Jack Miller finished in P5 ahead of Maverick Vinales and Fabio Quartararo. Ducati rider Bagnaia finished in P8 ahead of Alex Rins and Pedro Acosta. Previous race winner Johann Zarco ended in P14 and is looking for improvement in the next session. The Yamaha Factory team arrived with updated aero and a brand new swingarm for the British Grand Prix. The Japanese team are bringing key updates, and they are the ones progressing towards Ducati to challenge them for the MotoGP title.
