West Ham United hosted Liverpool in match day 35 of the English Premier League. The Reds after losing their last game against Everton were out of the title race in the final season of Jurgen Klopp. The visitors started well but failed to capitalise on their chances and the home side took advantage of that and breaking the deadlock at the 43rd minute of the game with Jarrod Bowen scoring.

The second half started well with the Reds pressing the game and that paid off as Andrew Robertson pulling one back for the side. The Reds took the lead after the shot of Cody Gakpo was deflected by Angelo Ogbonna and hitting the knee of Tomas Soucek and ending up in the net.
