Mason Mount will miss Manchester United's game against Arsenal due to an injury, according to Erik ten Hag. Ten Hag announced in a press conference prior to United's game versus Arsenal that Scott McTominay, Bruno Fernandes, and Marcus Rashford have each returned to training. Mount, on the other hand, sustained another injury, something the Dutchman termed as "very unlucky".

The former Ajax manager said, “It’s not that I am not happy with Mason. He is also a very robust player, you see in his profile. In the last four seasons before this, he only had a small issue in the end of his Chelsea career. He’s had very bad luck and he’s a really good player. We’ve really missed him this season.”

“Luke Shaw had a setback in his process” : Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag

Ten Hag also confessed that Luke Shaw had suffered a setback in his recovery and vowed that Lisandro Martinez was not going to be hurried back into the fold. However, Rashford appears to be fit to face Mikel Arteta and his fearsome Arsenal side on Sunday.

The Manchester United manager said, "Luke Shaw had a setback in his process as well but there is still a hope and he will fight to be available for the [FA Cup] final. Yesterday, Licha [Lisandro Martinez] came to me and wanted to play on Sunday against Arsenal but he's not ready yet, he needs a little bit more time to go through the process, but he is so desperate."

He added, “Rashy [Marcus Rashford], of course, he trained this morning as well, and we have to see how he recovered from this. But I think it looks quite good and I hope he can tomorrow make the next training and then see if he is available for Sunday."

When United face Arsenal, they will be trying to recoup from their 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace on Monday night.
