Brazil has chosen its lineup for the 2018 Copa América in the United States. The Seleçao heads to the United States after finishing second to Argentina during the 2021 edition.

This time around, the South American powers have been assigned to Group D with Paraguay, Colombia, and Costa Rica. Some prominent names are being left behind for the tournament, including Manchester United's Casemiro as well as Tottenham attacker Richarlison.

Brazil squad for Copa America 2024 in the United States is as follows: -

Goalkeepers: Alisson (Liverpool), Bento (Athletico-PR), Ederson (Manchester City)

Defenders: Danilo (Juventus), Yan Couto (Girona), Guilherme Arana (Atlético-MG), Wendell (Porto), Beraldo (PSG), Éder Militão (Real Madrid), Gabriel Magalhães (Arsenal), Marquinhos (PSG)

Midfielders: Andreas Pereira (Fulham), Bruno Guimarães (Newcastle), Douglas Luiz (Aston Villa), João Gomes (Wolverhampton), Lucas Paquetá (West Ham)

Attackers: Endrick (Palmeiras), Evanilson (Porto), Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal), Raphinha (Barcelona), Rodrygo (Real Madrid), Savinho (Girona), Vini Jr (Real Madrid)

Endrick - the upcoming star for Real Madrid and Brazil

Endrick, a 17-year-old Palmeiras striker, wowed the world of football and top European teams when he was just 15 years old with his spectacular youth football achievements. The Brazilian's fame grew even more when it was revealed that Real Madrid and Chelsea had been amongst the several notable teams tracking the Verdao star.

Getting into the Copa squad should be Endrick's biggest achievement to date, considering Brazil has plenty of forward potential, led by current Madrid talents Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo. Other prominent players include Arsenal's Gabriel Martinelli and Tottenham's Richarlison, who put together his greatest performance in a Brazil shirt at the Qatar World Cup in 2022.

But Endrick was called up to the squad to play in the March international friendly versus England and Spain, and he made the most of the occasion. Brazil defied recent trends versus major European nations in their match against England. Despite missing crucial players like Casemiro, Alisson, Gabriel, and Marquinhos, Endrick rushed to his side’s rescue from the bench.
