A month back, Moist Esports was denied the US Visa to compete at the ALGS Split 1 Playoffs which led to the org disbanding the roster to let the players compete. The reasons for denying the Visa, however, were very silly with the statement, with one reason being the name of the organization.

The owner of Moist Esports, Charles White Jr. also released a video addressing the issue. Pros who were previously playing for Moist Esports were able to compete in the tournament due to that decision. However, while many would think the issue might have died down, Moist Esports has taken a bold decision to get even.

In his latest video, Charlie says, “We, Moist Esports, are suing US Immigration. We talked with our lawyers, and they agreed that this is very mysterious how it ever even got to this point. It seems that there are quite a few no-nos that were committed here, and some protocol that wasn’t followed, a lot of big red flags, big problems.”

He also called out the entire office for not taking their case seriously and said he was disgusted by the system in place. The lawsuit aims to further shed light upon their work and how unreasonable US immigration can be.

The team still supports the organization

The team also played the tournament with a gag named Not Moist Esports and also talked about how supportive their organization have been during all this time.

Moist Esports was considered one of the best teams in the scene, with several fans rooting to see them compete at the tournament. While the team did get to compete, all the unfortunate things might have easily affected their morale and performance.
