ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 Schedule Announced (File Photo: Internet)
The International Cricket Council has announced the schedule for the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. The tournament will be played in Bangladesh in October later this year. The hosts Bangladesh will start their campaign with the first match against the second qualifying team on October 3, 2024.
The 10 participating teams have been divided into two groups namely A and B, with teams yet to be revealed from the Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers. India, New Zealand, Pakistan and Qualifier 1 are in Group A, alongside the reigning champions, Australia.
While Group B consists of the hosts Bangladesh, alongside South Africa, England, West Indies and Qualifier 2. All teams will play four matches each in the group stage with the top two from each group will go ahead to the semi-finals followed by the final of the tournament.
