Ahead of the upcoming Formula E weekend, Berlin Jaguar will be keen to continue their dominance in the ongoing season. Jaguar leads the 2024 Formula E standings with two wins in the first eight races. Mitch Evans and Nick Cassidy are still in the running for the title.

However, the controversial racing style witnessed this season suggests that future success is not guaranteed. Despite that team is keen to continue their dominance with Evans and Cassidy having a great track record in Berlin and red-hot form in the ongoing season.

Cassidy quickly made an impact with his new team after leaving Envision. He scored three podium finishes in the first three races, including a win in the second Diriyah race. Meanwhile, Evans, his teammate, showed good speed but faced minor car problems that prevented him from reaching the podium until the fourth race in Sao Paulo. In that race, overheating issues caused him to narrowly miss victory, finishing just behind his former teammate Sam Bird by three corners.

What did Evans say?

Ahead of the Berlin E-Prix Evans speaks about team performance and says they are ready to rock in. Speaking with the media he said, “Our 1-2 in Monaco was an incredibly proud moment both for me and for the team.”

“It remains tight at the top of both the Teams’ and the Drivers’ World Championships, so our attention now shifts to Berlin. It’s a circuit we know well, and last year saw positive results for me, Nick, and the Jaguar powertrain, so we’ll keep pushing this weekend and give it everything we have.”

“Following on from our incredible result in Monaco, the team have been working hard to set us up for another successful weekend. Berlin is a fun track - Mitch and I both won here last year, and I’m looking forward to getting out on track to aim to repeat last year’s results”, he further added.
